have_your_lives: (the sin of being alive)

[Schuldig tends to keep himself hopped up on sugar, when he can; his telepathy takes a lot of managing, and a lot of energy, and a constant sugar rush (coupled with plenty of caffeine) actually helps with that. As a result, he's been eating the candy corn casually ever since Halloween; it just so happens that when he does so today, unusual things happen.

He's not sure where this came from - and he got rid of the cap immediately, because he's not about to hide his magnificent hair - but he's got absolutely no problems wearing it; after all, his rather...eclectic fashion sense at the best of times has proven he can look good in anything. And if he's feeling more flirtatious than usual, what of it? He's never particularly restrained. He's vaguely aware that Mayfield is responsible for this in some way; he'd already chatted up some other people who've been affected before he'd joined their ranks. It just so happens that they're not doing much to him that a lot of alcohol couldn't.

So - who wants to be hit up by what looks vaguely like a man wearing a Nazi nurse uniform? THE LINE STARTS HERE.]

You call this 'enjoying yourself'?

Not entirely; not yet. [Schuldig looks away, idly scanning the surroundings. He's planning on getting laid by someone tonight, and it's blatantly obvious he's not in an overly picky mood.]

[Why does Farfarello know you so well that he knows that look? He scowls darkly. Better himself then who knows what the cat dragged in. From the look on Schuldig's face, it might even have -been- a cat. He sighs. He can't say yes to this. It briefly flickers across his mind to try killing the man, but he chokes that thought before it takes root. better than you ever have or ever will better than you ever have or ever will better than you ever have or ever will He can't go through with that. But.... He's going to have a headache, he knows it.]

Diabhal....

[He reaches for Schuldig's hand, for real this time. He's not so broken he doesn't have a vulnerable side, he just guards it fiercely. But right now he's letting Schuldig see it.]

You can do that tomorrow.

[Schuldig glances at Farfarello, but doesn't seem to object in any obvious way to the hand.] And why should I wait?

Because [your friend your friend your worshipper your loyal dog friend dog worship worship friend] I'm asking you.

[This...gives Schuldig pause. The insistent hum of the candy-fueled desire is still there, but it hasn't entirely changed his personality. Now the irresistible candy effects are fighting against his natural inclination to humor his partner when the man makes a serious request of him, and Farfarello can probably read the conflict on his face.]

Let's go, Diabhal. Màs é do thoil é. [Please.]

[He looks up at Schuldig's face, holding onto him tightly, waiting for some sort of answer.]

[This conflict is difficult to resolve, since all of Schuldig's natural instincts are pulling one way and the mandatory desire the town has shoved on him is pulling the other. However, he eventually manages to compromise the two - if he goes with Farfarello, he might still be able to seduce him. Or his housemates. And, if both are impossible...well, he doesn't believe Farfarello would be willing or able to hold him if he really wants to leave.]

Oh, fine. But I'm doing you a favor, you know.

I know. [And there is a lot of resignation behind that.]
