You're caught in the wire (For Shizuo)

[Schuldig has been at ease with the idea of casual murder for years, of course. Oh, he's done it himself, on occasion, though it's so much more elegant to go through other people - goading them to it, enticing them into it, subtly guiding them into doing exactly what Schwarz wants done. It has the added benefit of giving him the time to be lazy, and the luxury of watching the repercussions unfold from a comfortable distance. And given the moods he's been in recently, it's almost amusing that Mayfield thought he needed an excuse, much less incentive.

Of course, the shapes the incentives have taken prevent it from being even remotely funny. His clothes, his weapons, his telepathy, all gone...and pictures of the rest of Schwarz, back in Japan. The subtle threat of the pictures barely even registers; rather, it infuriates him because there is Schwarz, minding their own business back in their own world, while he's stuck here. It's hard to say if he's angrier with Mayfield or with Schwarz themselves.

Shizuo, you seem like as good a victim as any to take his rage out on.

A quick trip to the gun store - with Ema's money - at least gets him armed again; it's probably good to have a backup like this anyway, for situations very much like this one. From there, it's off to find Shizuo. He doesn't have his telepathy anymore, which would be infinitely useful in tracking down his target, but after having had it for months, constantly tuned to the mental background noise of Mayfield, he has a vague idea of where in the neighborhood to look...and from there, it's as simple as asking drones for directions.

1124 Taylor Road soon has an angry redhead bearing down on it like a ballistic missile on legs.]

s-sob it's okay............ ;; u ;;

[ Just the first shot alone is enough to drop Shizuo down the fence, though he had managed to run on top of it for at least a few spaces of houses. But the sad truth is, a bullet can still fly faster than what he can run, so even if he is quick to react to the noise, the bullet still manages to graze his left shoulder as he leans on his side to drop on the ground and roll back on his feet. He has no idea just how badly it hit him, the wound stings somewhat and, goddammit, he got this outfit from his baby brother!-- But no time to mourn on that, it's only his shoulder after all and he can still run, or more like he has to run still, since the bullet rain didn't stop to just one hit.

With his brain working like there's no tomorrow, quickly analysing the yard he landed on and seeing more and more fences around them, Shizuo once again doesn't stop to admire the scenery but the second he is standing, or even before that, he is running again, this time to jump over the fences with the not wounded arm helping him to lift his body over them. He had to get out of the residential area at least. The city, despite being small, would provide more hiding places than these houses and fences.

And even if Schuldig would stop shooting, Shizuo could at least figure just how far away from him the redhead was with that laughter. Though it annoyed the blonde to no end. ]

[Schuldig doesn't even need the help of his hands; he's jumped higher than a fence unassisted before, being the most agile member of Schwarz by a long shot. He jumps high enough for his foot to hit the top of the fence, launching him forward with extra momentum as he gets another few shots off at Shizuo. And then, suddenly, he's out of bullets, which gets a short German curse from him.

He's got more, of course, but Shizuo will get a brief reprieve as Schuldig reloads on the run.]
