I haven't been. Hell, I've irritated him a lot more in the past without him throwing anything larger than a toaster at me, and those were usually warning shots. But I've got a concussion and some stitches that say something's different, if you don't believe what my telepathy tells me.

Appealing to strong emotions is usually the only way to resist or throw off mind control. Otherwise Sakura would have killed Abyssinian when I gave her the chance. [There's a trace of lingering amusement as he speaks; it's clearly a pleasant memory for him.] But her feelings for him made her fight me for every inch. We might be able to appeal to Nagi in the same way...but I'll need you to keep him off my back. I'm in no condition to fight him off very well if he gets violent again.

But what sort of strong emotions other then anger and apathy can we appeal to in Nagi? I mean, I can't exactly help there...he hates me normally.

However, with out his ability to make a human pretzel out of me, I should be able to keep him contained while you talk.

Do you want to risk Miakis' safety by making me pull my punches? Because there's no telling who Nagi might feel like attacking next; if he'll come after me, there's nothing keeping any of you safe. Tot will work if nothing else does.
