Appealing to strong emotions is usually the only way to resist or throw off mind control. Otherwise Sakura would have killed Abyssinian when I gave her the chance. [There's a trace of lingering amusement as he speaks; it's clearly a pleasant memory for him.] But her feelings for him made her fight me for every inch. We might be able to appeal to Nagi in the same way...but I'll need you to keep him off my back. I'm in no condition to fight him off very well if he gets violent again.

But what sort of strong emotions other then anger and apathy can we appeal to in Nagi? I mean, I can't exactly help there...he hates me normally.

Anger would work. And the threat of being cast out again, accepted by no one...I have seniority over him in Schwarz, and look what he did to me. Where would he go if I threatened to have him cut loose? And there's always Tot.
