[It's been an interesting few days, hasn't it, Mayfield? Sexy nurses, vampires, zombies, werewolves, inexplicable children running around. As it happens, Schuldig was involved with both the first and the last events on that list...though the former has been almost completely forgotten in favor of the latter.

No matter what people may think - what Schuldig may want them to think, deliberately lead them to think - some things can even get to him. And today, he's lying flat on his back on a bench in the park, slowly smoking his way through an entire pack of cigarettes.

He doesn't usually smoke. It's a habit he only indulges in when something is bothering him and he needs something to do to distract his hands and his mouth and his mind. Anyone who might want to approach him about encounters with a certain redhead boy, or even about encounters with a full-grown telepath in a sexy nurse outfit - this is where you'll find him.]

[Schuldig is aware, but for once he's completely content not to be noticed. He doesn't draw any attention to himself saving for tossing his most recently spent cigarette aside and lighting a new one.]

[Of course, wouldn't you know it, but even former star players can fuck up with something as simple as juggling.

So he does. The ball goes flying, and lands probably square on Schu's stomach]

Ah! Shit, sorry I didn---oh.

[This triggers a suddenly exhaled plume of smoke and some coughing. Which is quickly followed by cursing in German as Schuldig smacks the ball away.] You can't even do the things you're supposed to be good at well, can you? [Definitely testy.]

Hey. Shut the fuck up like you can do any better. [He isn't sorry now that he knows who it is. Though he is a bit annoyed. That comment stung what little professional pride he had left.]

I'm not the one who makes a hobby out of it, am I? [Schuldig coughs a few more times before settling back on the bench, giving Ken a baleful sidelong look.]

[Ken is just going to ignore that glare and walk around you to get his ball, since you smacked it so far away. Jerk.]

It's not a hobby. [Soccer had been his life]

Makes it all the more sad that you're no good at it, doesn't it?

My foot slipped. It happens. Now go choke one one of those cancer sticks and die!

[The image of a whale with Schu's hair flits through his head if he's paying any attention.

He is also tempted to bounce his ball off Schuldig once more. Just to see what would happen.]

You enjoy making life difficult don't you.

What was your first clue? [He duly ignores the mental image, but returns one of Miakis in her sexy nurse uniform. Just to remind Ken that he saw it~]

[It doesn't take consious thought for him to react to that. He turns bright red and throws the soccer ball down on Schu as hard as he can]

You leave her out of this!

[Schuldig is ready this time, however - not with his telepathy, as Ken's mind doesn't provide enough warning, but simply because anyone might expect that reaction. He catches the ball and grins at Ken.] Touchy, aren't you~?

[Well that entire fiasco had lead at least to kissing her at last. And they were able to talk about what had happened after wards once she was back to normal, so in a way it was good for their odd little relationship.

He was just protective. That's all.]

[Schuldig just cackles. Any trace of Keane that isn't purely physical seems to be long gone, if Ken is taking the time to look for any.] Are you listening to yourself?

[He would be, but Schuldig has him on the defensive.]

I can hear myself just fine thank you! Don't be an ass! [Mainly he's being protective about her in general, but in the back of his mind, it makes him extremely uneasy for Schuldig to even be paying her any mind.]

She's got nothin' to do with you.

She's determined to stand in my way to stop my getting to you, you know. [Schuldig grins up at him.] If you're so worried about her, I'd talk her out of that idea.

[Well, that's both good and bad news. Good news is that she cares enough to protect him. Bad news is he really doesn't want her getting hurt on his account.

They've had this discussion and it always gets side tracked because she calls him on his hypocrisy of trying to protect her at the same time.]

Why don't you just stick to pickin' on Oracle or somethin', leave me and the others the hell alone.

He's not my enemy; you are. It's that simple.

[He's just gonna retrieve that ball again. He feels weird with out having something to fidget with. He's all wound up and tense again.

Figures, he actually went out to relax. Juggling is meditation for him almost.]

[Seriously, how did someone as sorta sweet and adorable as Keane turn into such a gigantic ass like Schu]

He didn't. That boy is dead, and if you ever even think that name again I will rip it out of your head with such force your every orifice will hemorrhage blood.

Hmf. If you could do that you woulda done it by now.

[He's not going to use him against you though oddly Schuldig. You two, to him, are entirely separate people.]
