[It's been an interesting few days, hasn't it, Mayfield? Sexy nurses, vampires, zombies, werewolves, inexplicable children running around. As it happens, Schuldig was involved with both the first and the last events on that list...though the former has been almost completely forgotten in favor of the latter.

No matter what people may think - what Schuldig may want them to think, deliberately lead them to think - some things can even get to him. And today, he's lying flat on his back on a bench in the park, slowly smoking his way through an entire pack of cigarettes.

He doesn't usually smoke. It's a habit he only indulges in when something is bothering him and he needs something to do to distract his hands and his mouth and his mind. Anyone who might want to approach him about encounters with a certain redhead boy, or even about encounters with a full-grown telepath in a sexy nurse outfit - this is where you'll find him.]

What was your first clue? [He duly ignores the mental image, but returns one of Miakis in her sexy nurse uniform. Just to remind Ken that he saw it~]

[It doesn't take consious thought for him to react to that. He turns bright red and throws the soccer ball down on Schu as hard as he can]

[Schuldig is ready this time, however - not with his telepathy, as Ken's mind doesn't provide enough warning, but simply because anyone might expect that reaction. He catches the ball and grins at Ken.] Touchy, aren't you~?

[Well that entire fiasco had lead at least to kissing her at last. And they were able to talk about what had happened after wards once she was back to normal, so in a way it was good for their odd little relationship.

He was just protective. That's all.]

[Schuldig just cackles. Any trace of Keane that isn't purely physical seems to be long gone, if Ken is taking the time to look for any.] Are you listening to yourself?

I can hear myself just fine thank you! Don't be an ass! [Mainly he's being protective about her in general, but in the back of his mind, it makes him extremely uneasy for Schuldig to even be paying her any mind.]

She's determined to stand in my way to stop my getting to you, you know. [Schuldig grins up at him.] If you're so worried about her, I'd talk her out of that idea.

[Well, that's both good and bad news. Good news is that she cares enough to protect him. Bad news is he really doesn't want her getting hurt on his account.

They've had this discussion and it always gets side tracked because she calls him on his hypocrisy of trying to protect her at the same time.]

Why don't you just stick to pickin' on Oracle or somethin', leave me and the others the hell alone.

[He's just gonna retrieve that ball again. He feels weird with out having something to fidget with. He's all wound up and tense again.

Figures, he actually went out to relax. Juggling is meditation for him almost.]

[It's not that, that day in general means that Schuldig would have more of his powers back, and that was generally a bad thing in Ken's mind. It meant that Schu could fuck with whatever he wanted in peoples heads.]

[Schuldig's eyes narrow. Ken may not be able to tell, as the Mastermind's always been good at goading the members of Weiss, but he's on the defensive, too.] I'd hope even you would know better than that, Siberian. [His voice is unusually low and measured, and all the more menacing for it.]

I don't like people messin' with my memories, useful or no! [This isn't really about Schuldig and Keane, it's the principle in general that Ken is objecting to.]

[Mainly what Ken is scared about is that he doesn't know what else Schuldig would go about doing in his head once he's got that power. You give a mop an inch and then he shafts you.

Besides...he'd rather remember poor Keane. It seems like no one else does really.]
